Hands-on TnECHO workshop using simulation and real patients


Transcatheter PDA closure in an ELBW premature infant

Participate in this exciting event. You will have the opportunity to EXPERIENCE an interactive procedure that will be performed LIVE. You can watch, learn and discuss this transcatheter procedure – Closure of PDA in an Extremely Low Birth Weight Infant. This is an interactive session. The procedure will be performed at the LeBonheur Children Hospital, Memphis, TN. It will be transmitted LIVE to the conference center. You will have the opportunity to ask your questions to the operators as they are performing the procedure. You will be able to learn how this procedure is performed with feedback from the panelists and the operators. The BEST way to learn a new technique!

About the Course

This course will discuss state-of-the-art practices on how to keep the PDA open and how to close the PDA in newborns from specialist in many disciplines. Special focus will be on transcatheter PDA Closure in extremely low birth weight, premature infants. Register now for panel discussions, review of the literature in multiple subspecialties, hands-on echocardiogram and catheter workshops, and expert lectures.
